About Us

The name “Djilba” is deeply significant, representing one of the six Noongar seasons. Just as the Spring season signifies a time of transition, with its mix of wet days with increasing warmth, Djilba symbolizes a bridging of cultural values with person-centred care.

What makes Djilba different? Our values and commitment are:

  • Djilba staff are Aboriginal and/or trained in cultural sensitivity ✅
  • We collaborate with Kinship groups to best support the family member ✅
  • We recognise the importance of choice and control in your NDIS journey ✅
  • We understand the importance of culture and country to you ✅
  • We liaise / connect with Aboriginal Metro and regional services ✅

In every aspect, from our name to our services, Djilba is a testament to the rich weaving of Aboriginal stories, traditions, and values.
